Life leading up to, and during 2010

It has definitely been a while since I've made a post and i apologize. Life has been crazy lately and i haven't been able to update this as much as I've wanted to, but i will give you a little re-cap of what's been going on!

Christmas: I got to spend the holiday with my family in Grand Junction, Colorado and had such an amazing time! It was definitely good to see family that i haven't seen in months and spend some time with my mom again. It was her birthday on the 26th and we spend the day shopping and relaxing and then went out to dinner with everyone that night. We also got to go see 2012 before i left too! Such a good break, i honestly couldn't have asked for more.

New Years: Vegas was calling my name so i escaped for a quick trip to see Kira :) We spent the night laughing about pretty much everything. We went to dinner with her family at PF Changs and it was delicious! Those lettuce wraps are simply heavenly. On New Years day we spend the entire day shopping and catching up, it was great to see my best friend again. I never realize how much i need her advice or opinion until we start talking about Life and what the future holds. She is one of the greatest people i know and i'm truly blessed to have her in my life. It was a short trip but completely worth it!

School started last week! (eek) Everything had been great so far however. My classes for this semester are: Communication Theory, Feature Writing, Communication Research, Technical Writing, and Public Relations Case Studies. It is going to be a very hard semester with a lot of work to do (especially since I'm writing my thesis) but it should be a good end note to my collegiate career!

Things to look forward to in the next 6 months!: I'm in the process of getting my concealed weapons permit, Graduating SUU, possibly moving to Salt Lake after Graduation, applying with the FBI, R&R Partners & more, and Bartending School :)

Stay posted for exciting life changes soon to come about!!

Lastly, some words to live by:

"What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for the world and others remains and is immortal."
