Christmas Party & Decorating

Tonight for chapter we did our gift exchange and i got the cutest picture frame that says "friends" on it. We also decorated Alpha Phi ornaments for Christmas while listening to Christmas music & we had milk and cookies! It was so much fun, i love the spirit of Christmas. Everyone seemed so happy tonight, i loved it.

After the Christmas party i came home and cleaned up the house a bit and then the roommates and I put up the Christmas tree and decorated it and everything. It's silver and red (bordeaux) for Alpha Phi, and we hung up our ornaments that we made tonight on the tree as well as all the other ones Kelly bought last week. We even hung stockings across the fireplace and they have our names on them. We decorated it as roommates, and listened to Christmas music the entire time, it was great. It's definitely starting to feel like Christmas around here and i love it!

Grandpa Jack

A week or so ago my cute Grandpa sent me a card out of the blue. He knew i was having a hard time and sent me something to cheer me up. That it definitely did :) The card made me cry i was so happy and it also made me miss my family a lot. I can't wait to see my Grandpa and the rest of my family at Christmas!!

Thanksgiving Break

Over Thanksgiving break me and Kalle (being the only 2 home) have been doing 2 things. Working :( and watching Criminal Minds! I feel like 5 or 6 discs of Season 4 is a little excessive, but at the same time we've loved every minute of it. The show is fascinating and quite addicting if i do say so myself. I'm hoping to buy the other seasons after Christmas sometime! The addiction must live on...


Thanksgiving wasn't terribly exciting this year. I worked 9 to 5. But i did have the opportunity to spend the night with Kalle's family who was gracious enough to invite me over for dinner, they are too sweet. After getting my fill on some turkey we watched the Broncos & Giants game - BRONCOS WON 26 to 6! It was a great game, and a good day overall :)
